Terms
fromSpec is in early access. These terms are deliberately brief. They cover the basics of using the product while it's still taking shape.
Early access
fromSpec is provided as-is during early access. Features can change, break, or disappear while we build, and availability isn't guaranteed. We'll do our best to keep things working and to warn you about meaningful changes, but you shouldn't depend on early-access fromSpec for anything you can't afford to have wobble.
Your code is yours
You own the code you generate. fromSpec compiles a real project from your spec, and the output is yours to keep, run, modify, host, and sell. There's no runtime tether to us and no claim on what you build. If you stop using fromSpec, your generated projects keep working.
Your provider keys and billing
fromSpec is bring-your-own-key. You supply your own LLM provider credentials (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) and you're responsible for that account, its usage, and its billing. You pay your provider directly. We don't mark up, resell, or meter model usage, and we aren't responsible for your provider's charges, limits, or terms.
Acceptable use
Use fromSpec to build software you have the right to build. Don't use it to break the law or to violate your LLM provider's terms. We may suspend access that puts the service or other people at risk.
Liability
During early access, fromSpec is provided without warranties, and we aren't liable for losses arising from using it. You're responsible for reviewing and testing the code you generate before you rely on it.
Changes
These terms will be replaced with a fuller agreement as fromSpec leaves early access. Continuing to use the product after an update means you accept the updated terms.
